GLENDALE (June 12, 2008)- Westcor Shopping Centers across Arizona partnered with Step Up Women’s Network—a national, nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening resources for women and girls in the community.

On Thursday, May 8, 2008, volunteers were invited to come out to the JCPenney Court at Arrowhead Mall to participate in the Step Out Step Up event to create over 500 wellness bags for local cancer patients at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center. Individuals who helped stuff these special bags included employees and volunteers of the Radiation Oncology department and Stroke Team.

On Wednesday, May 28, 2008, the wellness bags were delivered to the Radiation Oncology department for distribution to cancer patients throughout the hospital.
