The Orthopaedic Institute at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Ariz. boasts one of the nation’s premier orthopedic programs, and has earned recognition as one of the Top 100 Orthopaedic Programs in the U.S. by The Health Network and HCIA, Inc.

Banner’s expertise in orthopedic services will be further enhanced with the development of an Orthopaedic Residency Program at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix, one of Arizona’s largest medical education centers. Banner Good Samaritan received approval from the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education in 2006 to initiate an Orthopaedic Residency Program. Residents will complete five years of training in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal injuries and disorders. The program received its first two physicians in July 2007.
