Banner University Medicine Transplant Institute, in partnership with American Liver Foundation, will host a two-hour educational program focusing on pros and cons of current management strategies available for metabolic dysfunction[1]associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), formerly known as nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). Topics will include:
- Nutrition.
- Lifestyle/diet/exercise.
- Anti-obesity Medications.
- Metabolic/Bariatric weight management options.
There will be a brief Q&A session after the presentation. The floor will then be opened up for the audience to ask our panel of experts any liver disease related question.
At the conclusion of the program, a live Q&A session will be held with Banner Health's panel of liver health experts specializing in hepatology, transplant, psychiatry and interventional radiology.
