Juan Sanchez is the Athletic Performance Coordinator at the Banner Sports Medicine High Performance Center. Sanchez leads the development and implementation of athletic performance and skill development techniques to support injury prevention, human performance and recovery of athletes at an individual and team level across a variety of sports and activities.
A trusted leader in sports performance, Sanchez has nearly 15 years of experience training and coaching clients in various sports, including elite athletes from all major sports organizations. He blends his experience and passion for injury prevention, strength and conditioning, and performance nutrition to drive results that lift athletes to their maximum performance.
Sanchez has served as a strength and conditioning coach with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and led RIZE Sports Performance facility as owner and lead performance coach with an emphasis on baseball performance and skill development. His experience allows him to develop performance attributes across a variety of activities with a specialty supporting athletes in rotational sports.
Sanchez earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Arizona State University. He is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. He also has the following certifications: TPI Level 1 and Power Level 1 from Titleist Performance Institute, OnBase University Level 1, SFMA Level 1, FRC Level 1 and Precision Nutrition.
