We are happy to announce that Banner Rehabilitation Hospitals have been ranked No. 14 “Best Rehabilitation Hospital” in the nation by U.S. News & World Report for 2024-2025. This marks the second consecutive year that the hospitals has been included in the top ranking. Banner Rehabilitation Hospitals, with locations in Peoria, Phoenix and Mesa, are one of six Select Medical inpatient rehabilitation hospitals to receive the “Best Rehabilitation Hospitals” designation from U.S. News & World Report for 2024-2025. Banner Health and Select Medical established a joint venture partnership in 2018 and since that time built three new hospitals across the region. The annual Best Hospitals ranking, now in its 34th year, is designed to assist patients and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive quality care for challenging health conditions or elective procedures.

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital West, a joint venture partnership between Banner Health and Select Medical, is a new, 56-bed all-private-room medical rehabilitation hospital in Peoria, Arizona. The hospital offers patient-focused care that is both compassionate and results-oriented, innovative treatment plans and state-of-the-art equipment. In addition, the hospital team focuses on providing an exceptional experience for patients and their families during the recovery journey.

Interdisciplinary Care
The hospital’s dedicated care team includes: physiatrists (physicians who are board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation), certified rehabilitation nurses, physical and occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, case managers, respiratory therapists, dietitians and other professionals. This multi-disciplinary team works closely to design and implement specialized programs that meet each patient’s goals and help him or her return to fuller, more productive lives.
