Christopher Volk, member of the Banner Health Board of Directors, has been a leader in the real estate mortgage and lease solutions industry for nearly 30 years. He is co-founder and former CEO of STORE Capital, a Scottsdale, Arizona-based, privately held specialty finance and asset management company. Prior to STORE, he was co-founder and CEO of Spirit Finance Corp., which grew to become a publicly traded company. He also served as president and member of the board of directors for Franchise Finance Corporation of America and its successor, GE Franchise Finance.
Having written extensively on finance, valuation and business analysis, Volk is a frequent university guest lecturer and speaker on finance and capital market trends.
Volk earned a bachelor’s degree in European history and French from Washington and Lee University and a master’s in business administration from Georgia State University.
