Gilbert Dávila, a member of the Banner Health Board of Directors, is president and CEO of Dávila Multicultural Insights. He co-founded the company after 25 years as a marketing executive and multicultural market expert with Blue Chip and media/entertainment companies like Procter & Gamble; Coca Cola USA; Sears, Roebuck and Company; and The Walt Disney Company, where he served as the head of MC Marketing and Global Diversity.
In addition to the Banner Health board, Dávila is co-founder and board member of the ANA’s AIMM (Alliance for Inclusive and Multicultural Marketing) comprised of over 100 of the top corporations, media and research companies, advertising agencies and trade associations in the United States interested in engaging Hispanics, African Americans, Asians, LGBTQ members and People with Disabilities. He also serves as co-founder and Chair of the ANA Multicultural Marketing and Diversity Committee for the last 20 years and serves on the Board of Directors at Cracker Barrel (NASDAQ: CBRL).
Dávila co-founded DMI Consulting in 2010 to provide multicultural and inclusive marketing and strategic services (including research, data analysis, opportunity assessment and long and short-term planning) to corporate clients looking to expand their business opportunities by targeting diverse segments.
Gilbert Dávila is a highly accoladed leader having been the recipient of numerous industry recognition including: AAF Hall of Achievement Award, AdColor Legend Award, AdAge Top 100.
Dávila holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Fairfield University in New York City.
