Todd Werner is the senior vice president of acute care delivery at Banner Health.
Prior to becoming a senior vice president, Werner was the president of Banner Health’s Arizona Region, overseeing 13 acute care hospitals and several specialty facilities. Werner joined Banner in 2008 as CEO of Banner Desert Medical Center, and since then has served in a variety of leadership roles, including CEO of Banner Gateway Medical Center and Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center at Banner Gateway.
Werner came to Banner Health from the Adventist Health System, where he held CEO posts at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital in Hinsdale, Illinois and Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital in La Grange, Illinois.
Since earning a master’s in business administration with a concentration in health services management from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, Werner has held leadership positions in either health systems or consulting firms that work with health systems.
