Banner Health values and celebrates diversity and inclusion throughout our organization, our business partnerships and the communities we serve.
We recognize that a strong diverse supplier base enables Banner Health to support local businesses and offer greater opportunities to the communities we serve by helping build an inclusive economy that works and is here for everyone.
“Supplier diversity and inclusion in the sourcing process ensures we can partner with the most talented, innovative, experienced and cost-competitive suppliers available,” said Doug Bowen, senior vice president, Supply Chain Services.
Our Supplier Diversity Program was established to ensure all suppliers, including minority and women owned enterprises, have equal access to procurement and contracting opportunities with Banner Health.
Diverse suppliers are business enterprises, including publicly owned companies, that are at least 51 percent owned and controlled by minorities, women, disadvantaged/disabled individuals, veterans, and/or LGBTQ individuals. This includes business enterprises that are certified as one or more of the following:
Our Supplier Diversity Program connects qualified diverse suppliers to business opportunities with Banner Health. This includes participation in Requests for Proposals (RFPs), contractor engagements, and other procurement opportunities.
To get started, please register your organization in the Banner Health Supplier Portal. The supplier portal is a great way to introduce your organization and the products and services you offer.
We actively review vendor profiles and partner with certifying agencies to identify potential suppliers for inclusion in future Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement opportunities. Vendors providing products or services of interest to Banner Health will be contacted for more information.
