OB Breastfeeding Class- Banner Desert Medical Center- In Person

This class is designed for those planning to breastfeed their baby, with partners strongly encouraged to join. You'll gain valuable insights into the benefits of breastfeeding, the process of milk production, and optimal feeding schedules. The class will also cover essential topics such as proper latch techniques, comfortable breastfeeding positions, signs of successful breastfeeding, and practical advice on pumping and storing milk. We suggest attending during your third trimester to fully prepare for your breastfeeding journey.

We invite individuals preparing for a new baby to register for the class, and you’re welcome to bring one support person with you. Please note that we kindly ask that children do not attend.

Discounts will be available by signing up for our complete OB class package, featuring all three OB classes. This includes: OB Childbirth, OB Baby Care and OB Breastfeeding. Participants must registered for all three classes at the same time to receive the discount. Parking:
Park outside Banner Children’s and use the Women and Children’s entrance to enter the hospital.

Class Room:
Desert Bloom- your instructor will be at the doors to let you in. Please arrive 10 minutes early.

Cancellation Policy:
There is a $10 cancellation fee and no refund within one week prior to class start date. To cancel or reschedule your class, you must contact 602-230-CARE (2273) during regular business hours (8:00am to 4:30pm M-F).
