OB Baby Care Class- Banner Estrella Medical Center- Virtual

This class is designed for first-time parents and covers a range of essential topics to help you prepare for your new arrival. You’ll learn about getting ready for baby, hospital procedures, and car seat safety. The class also addresses caring for your baby at home, including feeding, managing crying, and understanding emotional changes for parents. You'll receive guidance on when to contact a doctor and basic infant CPR and choking techniques (note: this class does not provide certification; we recommend taking a Red Cross infant CPR course for certification). We suggest attending during your third trimester to ensure you’re well-prepared.

We invite individuals preparing for a new baby to register for the class, and you’re welcome to bring one support person with you. Please note that we kindly ask that children do not attend.

Discounts will be available by signing up for our complete OB class package, featuring all three OB classes. This includes: OB Childbirth, OB Baby Care and OB Breastfeeding. Participants must registered for all three classes at the same time to receive the discount. Cancellation Policy:
There is a $10 cancellation fee and no refund within one week prior to class start date. To cancel or reschedule your class, you must contact 602-230-CARE (2273) during regular business hours (8:00am to 4:30pm M-F).

To pre-register for the hospital you can complete a mail in pre-registration packet or call OB Patient Admission Services (PAS) from 5am-7pm at (602) 839-4293. Please have your insurance and provider information readily available.

Joining by Computer:
- Click "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" in your meeting invite.
- Choose to join via the web or download the desktop app. If you already have Teams installed, the meeting will open automatically.
- If you don’t have a Teams account and it’s allowed by the organizer, you can join as a guest by entering your name. If you have an account, sign in for access to meeting features. Depending on settings, you may enter the meeting immediately or wait in a lobby.

Joining by Mobile Device:
- If you have the app, select "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting" in the invite to open and join the meeting. If not, you'll be directed to the app store to download it.
- Join as a guest by entering your name if you don’t have a Teams account. If you have an account, sign in for full access. Depending on settings, you may enter the meeting directly or wait in a lobby.
