Children Are Priceless Passengers (CAPP) is a child safety seat class, open to the community, but a majority of the participants will be court ordered to attend. This class is also available if you are not court ordered but would like to take the class and request a carseat. This class is a partnership between the Governors Office of Highway Safety, City Court Systems, and Cardon Children's Medical Center Injury Prevention Program.
Have all of your car seat safety questions answered by the experts.
Included are tips on the following:
-Recalls, defects, snug fits, locking clips, seat belt systems, tethers, LATCH and “Is this even the right seat for my child?”
-Learn how to select the right carseat for your vehicle and child. Not every seat will fit every car. Instructor will also assist parents with correct safety seat installation.
If the participant has a child safety seat it must be brought to the class with you.
COST IS $35 PER CHILD VIOLATION AND MUST BRING CITATION TO CLASS ALONG WITH DRIVER'S LICENSE OR PICTURE ID.
YOU HAVE TO ATTEND THE ENTIRE CLASS; LATE STUDENTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO STAY. CLASS STARTS AT 9:00AM YOU NEED TO SIGN IN PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS.
