Doula Orientation Registration- Banner Del E Webb Medical Center

We continue our journey with a focus on expertise to support all families utilizing doula care during labor. We partnered with the CNMs (CERTIFIED NURSE MIDWIVES) in our facility for improved outcomes and experience, we recognized the need to collaborate with our community midwives and doulas.

Learn more about registering with Banner Del E Webb as a Certified Doula. This orientation for professional certified doulas will include a tour of the Maternity Unit. We will outline our prenatal education, lactation, and doula programs. See details below to complete the registration process.

All steps must be completed to be registered and receive a badge:
- Register for orientation.
- Email [email protected] with a headshot and a copy of your doula certification.
- We will email you the agreement and guidelines to return via email to [email protected] or bring with you to orientation.

As part of this collaborative program, we ask that you review the Doula Guidelines and Agreement and return a signed copy. If you are a new doula to BDWMC, we also ask that you send a copy of your doula certification and a current photo. Once we receive the signed doula agreement, doula certification and photo, we will create a badge that identifies you as one of our registered doulas and birth team member. As a registered doula, you can be an additional support person in OB Triage and the OB Operating Room. In the OR, there are times that emergencies occur, and all additional people are asked to step out. Should this be the case, you may stay with the support person until mom is transferred to the recovery room.

Parking at the main entrance (red lot) or Women’s center (purple lot) and follow sidewalk to enter at main entrance

Meeting Location:
Please arrive 10 minutes early and wait in main lobby, the tour staff will meet you there.

To cancel or reschedule your tour, you must contact 602-230-CARE (2273) during regular business hours (8:00am to 4:30pm M-F).
