Our acute care pharmacy services division provides care in diverse hospital settings ranging from small rural critical access hospitals to large academic medical centers. Each facility leverages state of the art technology including a fully integrated EHR (Cerner) with Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets and IV room workflow software.
The ambulatory pharmacy services team works within interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy for our patients. We leverage collaborative practice agreements and clinical protocols in the management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, COPD, thrombosis management, and polypharmacy.
Our population health pharmacy services team ensures that pharmacotherapy is optimized across broad populations in the communities we serve. With strong programs in pharmacy quality, care management, utilization management, and pharmacoeconomics, we work across broad sets of stakeholders to ensure that our patients have access to the medications and pharmacy services they need.
The growing Banner Family Pharmacy service line utilizes advanced technology with low volumes. We provide care coordination with providers and teams, vaccine administration, medication therapy management, medication synchronization, safe medication disposal, and expert pharmacy counseling.
Central to delivering on the continuum of services to our patients. Specialty pharmacy handles the most expensive medications and most complicated medical conditions for our patients. Our objective in specialty pharmacy is to provide a high touch, patient centric model.
