For more than 40 years, Banner Behavioral Health Hospital has provided a nationally recognized, behavioral health care program for children, teens and adults faced with psychiatric, behavioral health, or chemical dependency challenges. We are dedicated to providing safe, confidential and compassionate treatment with customized treatment plans to meet each patient's needs – in the least restrictive therapeutic environment. We also can help patients with co-existing psychiatric and substance abuse problems.
At Banner Behavior Health Hospital, we will assess a patient’s condition and if necessary transfer to a different Banner Health facility based on patient’s medical and psychiatric needs.
Our staff provides assessments for outpatient treatment, as well as offering Intensive outpatient programs at both our Scottsdale facility and Chandler office for adults and adolescents with chemical dependence or mental health challenges. What to Bring
Before admission, we ask patients to limit the amount of personal items brought with them due to limited storage facilities. We advise patients to bring in no more than might normally be packed for an informal, long-weekend vacation
Visiting Hours
To meet everyone's care needs, we have a different sets of visiting hours depending upon the patient's level of care. Specific rules for patient visitors were created to help maintain a safe environment, put visitors at ease, and keep patients on their path to recovery.
