The Division of Radiation Oncology currently treats over 2000 patients per year on 12 treatment Medical Linear Accelerators and 3 HDR afterloaders between four sites in the Phoenix area. Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center
This location supports three Varian TrueBeams and two Elekta Versas. They also have a Elekta Flexitron unit. Special procedures such as total skin electron therapy are provided at this campus. Banner MD Anderson is staffed with three full time physicists and four dosimetrists. It also serves as the hub for our medical physics residents.
