Service Commitment

  • Clinical care services: Every third weekend (Longitudinal)
  • Centralized pharmacy services (staffing): One (Longitudinal)
  • Ambulatory clinic: One-half day each week (Longitudinal)

Additional required activities throughout the program year(s) contribute towards resident development. 

These include:

  • Research Project
    • Background preparation, IRB submission, data collection and Analysis
    • Manuscript submission
    • Presentation at Southwestern States Residency Conference
  • ACPE accredited seminar presentation
  • Teaching certificate program (optional)
  • Development/expansion of a collaborative interdisciplinary practice agreement
  • Formulary Monograph
  • Journal Club
  • Serving as the pharmacy representative on a facility or system committee, as assigned
  • Poster presentation at a local/national meeting
  • System Pharmacy and Therapeutics participation
  • Quality Improvement Project
