Our goal is to offer safe, consequence-free training to physicians, nurses and other health care providers throughout Banner Health's seven-state system.
At the core of our training program is our "virtual hospital'' Banner Simulation Medical Center in Mesa, with 71 computerized mannequins, one of the largest training centers of its kind in the United States.
In 2006, Banner Health opened its first Simulation Education and Training Center. Located at Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix in downtown Phoenix, our $2 million facility has trained more than 5,000 health care professionals and is one of the largest centers of its kind in the United States.
We also have a mobile simulation training program that serves Banner Health hospitals in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, California and Nevada.
