Intravenous administration of medications and nutrition is sometimes necessary in the treatment of many chronic and severe conditions, including arthritis, cancer, Crohn's disease, multiple sclerosis and osteoporosis.
We also offer intramuscular (IM) and subcutaneous (SQ) injections for chemotherapy support, anemia and asthma .
Infusion therapy is a safe alternative when medications can’t be taken by mouth.
A specially trained nurse will insert a flexible tube (catheter) into a vein or just under your skin at your infusion site – usually your arm or chest. Outpatient Infusion therapy is provided at by a team of highly skilled professionals including nurses, physicians and pharmacists.
