Emergencies are stressful. That’s why we ensure your visit to the Emergency room at Banner North Colorado Medical Center is smooth and fast.
The triage process helps determine the severity of the patient’s condition to assure the most urgent patients are seen first. As in most hospital emergency rooms across the country, patients receive treatment based on the severity of their emergency, not the order of arrival.
As a Level II Trauma Center and participant of the state trauma system, Banner North Colorado Medical Center is a referral facility to several remote hospitals in the region, operating as a resource for consultation and trauma patient transfer.
Language and interpretive services are available at all Banner facilities.
At Banner North Colorado Medical Center, we have elected to participate in the Colorado ALTO Project, a program that aims to reduce the administration of opioids in Colorado emergency departments. The goal is to help patients improve pain management, return them to a maximum level of function and independence and ultimately, restore their quality of life. Our hospital and clinicians are committed to understand and individually treat patients’ physical and emotional symptoms of pain.
When you have a medical emergency, help is just a phone call away. Our paramedics provide 911 service to many different areas in a fast and efficient fashion. We hope you never need us, but we’re always here if you do.
Because convenience matters in an emergency, Banner offers Emergency care in west Greeley. This stand-alone Emergency department is equipped to handle most emergencies, but if needed, we can quickly transport patients to Banner North Colorado Medical Center if necessary.
