At Banner – University Medical Center Phoenix, you’ll find all of the maternity care you need in our Women’s Health Institute, whether your pregnancy is normal and healthy or complicated and high-risk.

You are the most important member of our team, which includes doctors, nurses, nurse midwives, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, surgeons, neonatologists, perinatal specialists, technicians and other staff members.

What maternity care do I need?

Our Women’s Health Institute provides maternity services that include:

• Pregnancy care for normal, complicated and high-risk pregnancies including multiple births
• Labor and delivery care
• Mother and baby care
• Banner Children’s Level III neonatal intensive care unit for premature and sick babies
• Maternal-Fetal Medicine Center with basic fetal testing, complex procedures and care for babies with congenital conditions
• Antepartum unit for hospitalization during pregnancy
• Lactation consultants
