Banner – University Medical Center Tucson provides comprehensive surgical care, including as organ transplants. As an academic medical center and a Level 1 trauma center, we offer expertise, procedures and technology not always available at other facilities.
We offer a range of surgical procedures, from general surgeries to complex procedures. At our HepatoPancreaticoBiliary Center, we provide 24/7 diagnosis and treatment of liver, pancreas, gallbladder and biliary system conditions. Our Endocrine Surgery Center is the only center in the Southwest available to diagnose and treat cancerous and noncancerous diseases of the endocrine system.
Whenever possible, our surgeons use minimally invasive procedures. Procedures such as robot-assisted surgery require tiny incisions, which means less pain, a shorter hospital stay and a quicker recovery for you.
