At Banner Children's at Diamond Children’s Medical Center, our compassionate, highly skilled team of technologists, doctors, and consultants specializes in diagnosing and treating your child’s sleep disorder.
We treat a variety of sleep disturbances in children including insomnia, sleep apnea, and sleep/wake schedule problems.
Your primary care physician will give your child a referral to our sleep center. We contact you to schedule an evaluation and send you a letter. This letter confirms the test date, explains preparations and the test itself, and other instructions.
It is important to have the sleep test during the child’s normal sleep time, if possible. This gives us the most accurate results. We have child-friendly rooms with space for you and your child to sleep.
Our sleep staff can determine any treatment needs while your child is in the sleep center. We can treat your child the same night of the diagnostic study if they have severe to moderate sleep apnea symptoms.
Our Children's Postinfectious Autoimmune Encephalopathy (CPAE) Center of Excellence at the Diamond Children’s Multispecialty Services clinic, diagnoses and cares for children with this often-misdiagnosed autoimmune disorder.
