At Banner Children’s at Diamond Children’s Medical Center, we provide surgical care for children of all ages. We treat newborns to young adults, and offer inpatient and outpatient surgeries for a wide range of conditions.
Our surgeons perform traditional open surgery, but we use minimally invasive procedures whenever we can. These types of procedures – robot-assisted surgery, for instance – require much smaller incisions than standard open surgery. This approach means less pain, a shorter hospital stay and a quicker recovery for your child.
