Colleen brings her own lived experience as an individual in long term recovery and a family member to an adult child with complex health needs to her role, overseeing OIFA. With over 25 years of varied personal and professional experience, she has seen the power of lived experience in recovery, resiliency, and wellness. In her role she provides leadership ensuring member voice is heard and choice is extended to those served. She supports the peer and family run programs ensuring peer and family support are available to all members and families. She establishes structures to promote diverse youth, individual and family voice in health plan decision-making and advocates for culturally inclusive and trauma responsive environments that are welcoming to individuals and families.

Michelle is a peer and family member and brings this experience to her role. She believes whole heartedly in the power and value of peer and family support services across all settings, cultures, and stages of recovery. Her education and background are well suited for her role with a bachelor's degree in psychology and master's in human services. Her work experience include direct crisis and recovery support services, care coordination and peer support, and assisting individuals and families in leveraging their voice and insuring choice. She enjoys seeing those she has the opportunity to work with using their voices, gaining a stronger sense of self & community, learning to advocate creating positive system change, and living healthier lives.

Sandy has years of experience in assisting members understand and use their health plan benefits. She has coordinated care and support for members to use and make the most of their benefits. She thoroughly believes in member voice and choice and advocates in helping members feel heard and self-sufficient to enjoy living a healthier happy life.

John is a Peer Support Professional with years of experience providing Peer Support in multiple settings including court ordered treatment, housing, residential treatment, harm reduction programs and community-based outreach. He also has over a decade of experience training and credentialing Peer Recovery Support Specialists and continues to impact the community through various outreach efforts. John has spoken at multiple national conferences on Peer Support related topics and is a staunch advocate for member rights. He consistently uses his perspective of lived experience to inform the work he does.
