Patricia Iris, MD, Network Medical Director
Dr. Iris brings with her 20 years of experience in hospital administration and clinical practice transformation. She is passionate about patient care and her extensive physician leadership experience will help support our team of community physician leaders and other clinicians.
Dr. Iris most recently served as chief medical officer with Adventist Health in California, where she provided leadership for 400 physicians. She led numerous hospital and clinic initiatives focused on improving patient care outcomes. Prior to Adventist Health, she was the chief clinical innovation officer with Navvis Healthcare in Hawaii, where she led specialty physicians, physician organizations and health care systems in developing value-based strategies and optimizing patient care delivery.
Dr Iris’ experience in population health, quality and care transformation will allow her to facilitate clinical performance improvement initiatives for network clinics, hospitals, and aligned entities in Tucson and Southern Arizona. She is a graduate of the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center’s and is looking forward to returning to Tucson and supporting providers to improve the quality of care in Southern Arizona.
Dr. Iris earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University, medical degree from Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center and Master of Public Health at the University of Washington. She completed a pediatric residency program at University of Arizona Health Sciences Center in Tucson.
