PHOENIX (Jan. 23, 2025) – This month marks a milestone as Banner Estrella Medical Center celebrates 20 years of providing exceptional healthcare to the west part of metropolitan Phoenix.
Since opening its doors in 2005, the hospital has grown into an important medical facility known for its innovation, compassionate care and commitment to improving lives.
Over the years, Banner Estrella has reached numerous achievements, solidifying its reputation as a leader in healthcare including their highly skilled medical team specializing in labor and delivery supported by a top-tier neonatal intensive care unit delivering 5,500 babies last year. The hospital also has introduced transcatheter aortic valve replacement and robotic bronchoscopy programs. Further, a $37 million investment on campus expansion will support planned and organic growth to serve the southwest region of metro Phoenix with the construction starting last November.
