PHOENIX (April 24, 2024) - Banner Urgent Care’s downtown Phoenix location on 1 North Central Ave has added occupational health services. This one-stop-shop venture will be one of several to come this year. Currently, there are two other Banner Urgent Care and Banner Occupational Health combinations in the valley - one in Scottsdale and one in Glendale.
Banner’s occupational health services partner with businesses to navigate health risks specific to their industry and include the following:
- Drug & alcohol testing
- Worker’s compensation injury and illness care
- Industry-specific exams which include but are not limited to: Department of Transportation and Occupational Safety and Health administration exams, pre-employment and pre-placement exams, fitness for duty exams, firefighter and police officer physicals, respiratory fit testing, and surveillance screenings.
“Accessibility for our patients in their personal urgent care and occupational health care needs is our top priority,” said Brian Standage, executive director of Banner Urgent Care, Banner Occupational Health, and Employee Health Services. “These combined services allow for convenient access and coordinated care.”
