SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (Dec. 11, 2024) – Banner Health Center Pinnacle Peak, the newest primary care facility in north Scottsdale, today held a ribbon cutting in preparation for serving patients in January.
The 10,415-square-foot health center will offer acute and chronic condition care, geriatric care, immunizations, medication management, minor in-office procedures, newborn and pediatric care, on-site labs, routine physicals, sinus and respiratory care, well-child exams, well-woman exams, on-site pharmacist support and on-site registered nurse support.
“It’s super exciting, we are going to have a wide range of offerings for the patients and families here in Scottsdale,” said Dr. David Valenzuela, physician executive for primary care and pediatrics for Banner Medical Group. “It is part of that core foundational strategy for Banner Health’s forays in this market.”
The health center will be home to five providers specializing in internal medicine and family medicine. Plans include adding rotating specialists at the center.
“This is part of us creating a new neighborhood, Scottsdale will become a neighborhood for health care for Banner Health,” said Dr. Shiva Birdi, chief executive officer of Banner Medical Group.
The center, at 7669 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, Suite 220, is Banner’s second health center in Scottsdale. Banner Health Center Raintree is at 8901 E. Raintree.
The Pinnacle Peak health center will see patients beginning Jan. 14, 2025.
