PHOENIX (Jan. 15, 2025) — Todd Werner has been promoted to president of care delivery for Banner Health, one of the largest non-profit health care systems in the nation.
As of Jan. 1, Werner has been elevated from senior vice president of acute care after 16 years of service with Banner Health.
“Todd’s skills and values proved to be strongest among top leaders across the country,” said Amy Perry, Banner Health president and chief executive officer. “His track record of developing deep and respectful relationships, along with consistently delivering successful results, made the choice clear.”
Werner began as chief executive officer of Banner Desert Medical Center in 2008, served in a variety of leadership roles, including CEO of Banner Gateway Medical Center in Gilbert, regional president of Arizona east division and president of Banner’s Arizona region. He was named a senior vice president in 2022.
