Emergency

Life happens. Unexpected medical problems can arise at any time. That's why Banner Health offers 24/7 emergency care close to home. Whether you're experiencing chest pain that could point to a potential heart attack, or facing another urgent medical situation, our hospital emergency room is here to provide immediate, high-quality emergency medicine.

Get the Care You Need. Our Emergency department is required by the Federal Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA) to medically screen each patient to determine his or her need for emergency medical treatment. If you have an emergency medical condition or are in active labor, EMTALA mandates that the medical center provide stabilizing care within its capabilities regardless of your ability to pay.

Comprehensive care

Our emergency medicine team is dedicated to providing exceptional care. From initial assessment to treatment and discharge planning, we're committed to your well-being. We accept most health insurance plans, and financial assistance options are available.

Pediatric emergency care

We understand the added stress of a child's illness or injury. Our pediatric emergency care specialists provide compassionate care for your little one, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Beyond emergency care

For routine check-ups, preventive care and ongoing management of chronic conditions, it's essential to establish a relationship with a primary care doctor. We can help connect you with a qualified physician in your community.

Urgent care vs. emergency room

While our emergency room is equipped to handle critical emergency situations, for less severe conditions, consider visiting an urgent care center. These facilities offer faster treatment for minor illnesses and injuries like the flu, sprains or broken bones.
