Our pharmacists and pharmacy experts don’t just fill prescriptions. We’re here as a community resource for your health care needs with answers to the medication questions you may have. Learn more below.
Q: Can I travel with medication?
A: Yes. It’s important to properly store medications in a cool, dry place when traveling. If you are flying with medications, make sure to pack your medications with you in an easily accessible bag. Learn more about traveling with your medications here.
Q: Can I pick up medication for my spouse or family member?
A: At the request of the patient, prescriptions may be picked up by the patient’s legal guardian, or by a caregiver or representative of the patient, regardless of the relationship.
If you are currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever or dry cough, we encourage you to identify a healthy adult representative to pick-up your prescriptions or arrange to have your prescriptions mailed to you.
If you need additional assistance with prescription pick-up, please contact one of our pharmacy locations.
Q: How long do prescription refills take?
A: Refill timing may be dependent on the type of medication you are picking up. Make sure to check your Banner Family Pharmacy account online or through the Banner Rx app (Link to https://bannerhealth.medrefill.com/baweb/#/home) to find updates and check the status of your refill. You can also call your pharmacy directly to check on the status of your prescription.
Q: Do you accept my insurance?
A: We accept most insurance plans so you can stay focused on your health and not have to worry about cost. For copayments and coinsurance amounts, we accept credit card, HSA or FSA card or by check. We can store your preferred method of payment in a secure system for future refills.
