How our cardiac rehab program works
Our cardiac rehabilitation consists of three phases:
- Phase 1 – inpatient program: Begins in the hospital with progressive physical activity and education on heart disease management.
- Phase 2 – outpatient program: Focuses on self-monitoring, monitored exercise sessions, and education on diet, exercise, and stress management.
- Phase 3 – maintenance program: Helps build on progress from Phases 1 and 2, offering supervised exercise and ongoing support.
