Make a Difference – Give Back Through Volunteer Work

At Banner Payson Medical Center, our volunteers are an important part of our team. Each year, volunteers donate thousands of hours to our Medical Center and serve our community by helping our staff, patients and their families.

Volunteers contribute hours in all aspects of our facilities from Nursing Department and Gift Shop, to the Emergency Department and Information Desks. Anyone who is at least 14 years old is welcome to apply. Wherever your talents lie, we have a place for you!

Our volunteer program provides flexibility in scheduling and placement to accommodate seasonal volunteers, teens and career professionals. The goal of the Volunteer Services department is to maximize our volunteers' talent by providing opportunities that use their skills.

We require all our applicants to:

• Complete a thorough application, interview and background research process (could take up to 3 weeks)
• Commit to volunteering at least 100 hours within 6 months or 1 shift per week, approximately 4 hours in length
