At Banner Wyoming Medical Center, our volunteers are an important part of our team. Each year, volunteers donate thousands of hours and talent to our hospital. They generate funds that benefit our programs and services through sales from the gift shop and fundraising events.
Volunteers contribute time in many areas of our hospital, from nursing floors, to the Surgical Staging Area and the Emergency Department. They can be found assisting with a variety of tasks and services, including greeting, directing, and guiding patients and visitors. In addition, they are involved in special programs that make an impact, including the Therapy Dog Program, Junior Volunteer Program, and Caring Closet. Wherever your talents lie, we have a place for you!
Our volunteer program provides flexibility in scheduling and placement to accommodate seasonal volunteers, teens, and career professionals. The goal of the Volunteer Services department is to maximize our volunteers' talent by providing opportunities that use their skills.
