Our interactive sessions will focus on severe maternal morbidity and mortality including substance use disorder, mental health, and social determinants of health. This summit will offer attendees a comprehensive understanding of emerging trends and strategies.

Outcome Objectives

  • Utilize validated screening tools for perinatal mental health.
  • Utilize validated screening tools for substance use disorders during pregnancy.
  • Manage severe hypertension during pregnancy.
  • Manage perinatal hemorrhage and infection during pregnancy.
  • Identify accreta spectrum disorder and refer patients to tertiary care centers.
  • Expedite referrals and provide timely treatment for the leading causes of maternal mortality.
