Our ASHP-accredited PGY-1 Pharmacy residency will provide a structured educational experience while allowing flexibility to meet resident's needs.
Banner Health’s PGY1 community pharmacy residency provides comprehensive clinical training in a variety of advanced practice settings. The resident will be based out of Banner Family Pharmacy – Specialty Care (Banner Support Services building) in Chandler, Arizona where the resident will communicate with health care members and patients telephonically. Located at Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, residents in the oncology learning experience will provide in-person counseling on specialty drug therapies and round with physicians. The transplant learning experience is at the Banner – University Medical Institutes building in central Phoenix, where residents will also provide in-person counseling and work alongside physicians, nurses, and medical assistants to provide fist-class patient care.
