Banner North Colorado Medical Center (NCMC) is a fully accredited facility licensed to operate 234 beds, a 16-bed intensive care unit (ICU) and a 30-bed progressive care unit. The institution is a Level II Trauma Center certified by the American College of Surgeons and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

Banner North Colorado Medical Center serves as a regional medication center with community-based and specialty services in an area that includes southern Wyoming, western Nebraska, western Kansas and northeastern Colorado. Banner North Colorado employs ~1,300 people, with many volunteers who generously donate their time to the hospital.

The pharmacy department provides 24-hour services, supported by more than 40 full time pharmacy personnel. An automated dispensing system is utilized throughout the hospital in addition to carousel technology. Decentralized pharmacy staff are located in five satellites throughout the facility, including ICU, progressive care and a medical oncology clinic. Banner North Colorado Medical Center pharmacists also provide remote order verification and support during the evenings and weekends to eight other Banner Health facilities in four states.
