Banner Health’s PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy residency provides comprehensive clinical training in advanced practice settings. Based at Banner - University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) Internal/Family Medicine Clinics, the PGY2 resident will work alongside medical residents for a collaborative learning experience, in addition to working under collaborative drug therapy management protocols to provide pharmacist-delivered patient care. Additional opportunities throughout Banner’s innovative practice model include comprehensive drug therapy management within Banner Medical Group Clinics, population health, pharmacist-run MedCare Clinic, and specialty pharmacy.
