Service Commitment
Two staffing days per month (weekend).
Additional required activities throughout the program year(s) contribute towards resident development.
These include:
- Research Project
- Background preparation, IRB submission, data collection and Analysis
- Manuscript submission
- Presentation at Southwestern States Residency Conference
- ACPE accredited seminar presentation
- Teaching certificate program (optional)
- Development/expansion of a collaborative interdisciplinary practice agreement
- Drug information
- Formulary project
- Journal Club
- Co-precepting PGY1 resident and/or APPE student rotations, as applicable
- Serving as the pharmacy representative on a facility or system committee, as assigned
- Poster presentation at a local/national meeting
