There are many ways to make gifts to Banner Casa Grande Medical Center. Gifts may be made in the following categories: annual appeals, honor or memorial gifts, grants and major gifts, foundation events, capital campaigns or planned/estate gifts.
Capital campaigns will be conducted by the Foundation periodically. Campaign projects are selected by the Medical Center and Foundation Boards. Projects selected are ones needed to ensure continued excellence in health care for our community and to address growth issues resulting from the area’s exploding population.
Friends of Banner Casa Grande Medical Center are asked to consider a Planned/Estate Gift. This type of gift is different from gifts previously mentioned in that they are made from estate assets rather than personal income. Approximately 80 percent of planned/estate gifts are made through bequests. The Foundation encourages medical center supporters to include Banner Casa Grande in their will and estate plan.
A simple statement added to your will can designate that either a set amount bequest or a residual portion of estate assets (such as 10 percent of the residual after children are provided for) be established. Many people would like to leave an estate gift, but are afraid of outliving their assets. For them, a simple Gift Annuity Agreement can establish an annuity that guarantees lifetime payments for one or two people at rates of 6, 7, 8 or even 11 percent (based on age of annuitants), provide a large income tax deduction and contribute a significant gift to the Casa Grande Community Hospital Foundation. Other planned/estate gift options are available and can be discussed by calling (520) 381-6541.
