What is Children’s Rehabilitative Services (CRS)?

Children’s Rehabilitative Services (CRS) is a designation given to AHCCCS members with active ongoing qualifying healthcare conditions. CRS designation is only assigned to members enrolled in an AHCCCS health plan and under 21 years of age. Members with a CRS designation can get the same AHCCCS covered services as non-CRS AHCCCS members and are able to get care in the community, or in clinics called Multi- Specialty Interdisciplinary Clinics (MSIC). 

MSICs bring many specialty providers together in one location. MSICs use an integrated approach to care focusing on medical, behavioral, and developmental healthcare needs of the CRS member. This means, the physical health and behavioral health teams located at the MSICs work together to meet the whole healthcare needs of CRS Members and their families. MSICs also work with community-based providers for any additional support and services needed for CRS members and their families.    MSICs have four locations in Arizona.   • Anyone can fill out a CRS application including a parent, guardian, family member, doctor or health plan representative. 
  • Review the Qualifying Medical Conditions list of CRS-qualifying conditions.
  • Find a CRS application in English or Spanish at: Health Insurance for Adults without Children (azahcccs.gov)
