Sierra Dimberg, PhD, is the Sport Psychologist and Mental Skills Coach at the Banner Sports Medicine High Performance Center. She works with athletes, teams and organizations on improving their mental skills to optimize their overall performance.
As a yoga teacher she works with athletes to enhance their ability by focusing on their strength, flexibility, and mindfulness practices.
She worked as a behavioral health consultant for Major League Baseball (MLB) and served as the mental skills coach for the Reese’s Senior Bowl collegiate athletes. Additionally, Sierra has experience working with youth athletes.
While in the U.S. Navy, Sierra served as a clinical psychologist for four years helping squadrons with stress management techniques and focusing on returning sailors to their overall duty and service. Part of her time in the Navy was spent working with F-18 fighter pilots on performance enhancement skills.
Sierra earned a degree in psychology with a minor in counseling from Sacramento State and then her doctorate in counseling psychology from Arizona State University.
