We want you to be satisfied with our services and the care you received from our providers. Banner – University Family Care (B – UFC) administers surveys to solicit feedback about experiences with healthcare services throughout various settings. We use these survey results to assess members’ needs and improve the delivery of services.

The Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Survey

The CAHPS survey is designed to collect feedback from members about their experiences with healthcare services. This survey assesses what our members find important. 

CAHPS also asks about experiences with other aspects of healthcare, including: 

  • Getting needed care 
  • Getting care quickly 
  • How well doctors communicate 
  • Health plan customer service
  • Overall rating of health plan

The CAHPS survey is another component of NCQA’s accreditation process. It tells us how we rank as a health plan, our operations, and our healthcare providers. The NCQA publishes annual Health Plan Ratings based on these surveys. Members can view these ratings on the NCQA website.
